Air, Fire, Earth, and Water

Since ancient times people have lived in harmony with the elements. They used their energy to merge with the each of the elements earth, fire, wind and water in a symbiotic relationship. They became one…these elements were a part of us and we were a part of them. This was necessary for survival as the early peoples knew that cooperation was key. We have forgotten this. We have become disconnected from the oneness of these elements and, in some cases, have created an ‘us versus them’ relationship where winning is the only option. This is the legacy of our forefathers…energies out of balance and disconnected with the divine feminine. In the arrogance of man, we have elevated and separated ourselves from the animal and plant kingdoms and we have separated ourselves from the elements of nature. We have become so disconnected from this symbiotic relationship that any equilibrium that Mother Nature attempts is viewed by our society as a loss. We have forgotten to look at the ‘gift’ of the loss and see the bigger picture…homeostasis and energetic equilibrium.

Every ancient peoples had a common understanding of these fundamentals within their own language and dialects. For example, the Naacals. They were educated scientists and high-priests of Lemuria (Mu) who developed their own symbols and language different than that of Lemurians. They were very intimate with the 4 forces or elements and believed that the elements were born directly from the light of the divine, that when born, pulled the universe out of chaos and into order. The Nacaal symbol of the 4 forces (image left) resembles the modern compass rose for the four cardinal directions which when you rotate the symbol 22 degrees becomes the medicine wheel (image right). The medicine wheel is the heart of many indigenous cultures and various shamanic traditions.

Air
Air is fundamental to all living things; our breath keeps us alive and calms us down in moments of stress. The ancients considered the lungs to be divine wings that when ‘beating’ would give us the breath of God. As a result of our breath sound is created; the great alchemical transformer, in the form of waves in energetic form. Air converts simple words into stories, churns the seas, lifts the dust, releases the last few of the fall leaves still clinging to the trees, and moves seeds and pollens. When the wind hits your face it can be a gentle caress or a strong gale that requires leaning into to keep on your feet…both remind us of the strength, power and grace of Mother Nature. When you are lying on your back in a grassy field watching the clouds stream by it is the wind that is moving them…like a movie real with scenes and shapes. The swirl of Fall leaves dancing and billowing in a spiral reminds us of Mother Nature’s magic. NORTH

Picture
Fire
When energies are burnt-off and the heat increases, there is a very pure white light that emanates from fire. To some cultures, this white light represented knowledge or wisdom. The alchemy of fire to ash is transformative…like the phoenix. To others, the death-rebirth cycle as result of fire was seen as the yin-yang; a balance being achieved within Mother-Nature, just like the expansion and contraction of a muscle exploding powerfully in athletics. Fires are primal, they are used in many ceremonies to honour and welcome ancestors, nature, and gifts into the community. Fires are mesmerizing; they can put you into a trance-like state. Fires sustain us; they cook our food. A fire in the home creates a welcoming space. The exotic and rare Morel mushroom only appears after a fire in the forests. When our creative juices are ‘on fire’ we are fierce creators, passions run high and we strive to live our dreams. EAST

Picture
Earth
The same mineral content of soil is in human bones. Running soil through our fingers and feeling grass between our toes is very soothing and grounding. It is a vessel for transformation; plants and trees root into it, we use it to create pottery and homes, and dancing, stomping and thumping our feet and hands into the earth is very primal and energetically therapeutic. When we “stand our ground” we are firm and rooted deeply, and when we die our bodies return to the earth “ashes to ashes, dust to dust”. The geomagnetic forces of earth resemble our own energy systems in our bodies. Gaia has chakras as we do, has energetic meridians as we do, and moves energies through a system as we do in our nervous system. Why wouldn’t she resemble our bodies…we were created of her chemical and energetic properties.  SOUTH

Picture
Water
Humans are 70% water. The body starts to shut down after 3 days without water, yet humans can go for weeks without food. Water is used to birth new life. It is teaming with creation energy. Lake Titicaca is Gaia’s Sacral Chakra...home of the Incan creation story. The trickling of water soothes the soul. The roar of a waterfall humbles adventures. The chiming of candle ice is a symphony of nature. Water ebbs and flows to the cycles of the moon…it moves so much in its flow. Being in the flow is where we find oneness with the universe. Water hydrates, flows, swirls, rushes, tumbles, spirals, bubbles, freezes, steams, cleanses, blesses, creates rainbows, etc. So many states of being, all influenced by energy, just like us. H2O one of the most fundamental compounds in the universe. Embedded in the atoms is a signature of universal life.  WEST

All of these elements cleanse and purify spiritual energies in their own way…they also respond to frequency. Love, the universal frequency that unites all beings, the highest frequency in the universe, in its alchemical form can directly alter the being and frequency of these natural forces/elements of nature. We as humans have forgotten this sacred marriage between us, our energy, our frequency, and the elements.

It is my sincerest hope that your perspective has been shifted and you will join me in gratitude when you next experience the elements…when the wind tickles your chin or when you run your hands through water…and whisper the Ho’oponopono Hawaiian prayer “I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank-you. I love you”.

Mount Kailash - 7th Chakra (Crown)

The Color of White

Picture
The air was dry and the sun was bright as it reflected off the crisp white snow casting a white glow around the apex of this sacred mountain. I'd been seeing and hearing the crunching of the crisp white snow of the mountain for weeks prior to my actual Shamanic Journey to Mount Kailash China, home of Gaia’s 7th chakra, the Crown. As it was the last chakra of my world tour we had decided early on that we would not physically travel to this final destination.

As soon as I completed the 6th chakra, I started to feel the sorrow, sadness, angst, and anger of the 7th in my heart...the socio-political energies of this site needed clearing in advance of my journey. This was no surprise as Mount Kailash is in the Tibetan province of China and is nestled close to the boarders of India and Nepal. I had a lot of work to do...

This journey was different than the others...it felt lighter, more powerful and more intense. White...everything was white. Before we started, I wrapped my two magic animals and I in a mercaba shaped protective white bubble. I was an angel wearing white robes. As we flew to this majestic mountain my white wings flapped hard against the wind. When I arrived, I flew in spirals around the core of the mountain clearing and transmuting any final remaining energies. I flew up to the top of the mountain and stood at the peak. I brought forward the energies of chakra's 1 through 6; dirt from Mount Shasta, water from Lake Titicaca, sun from Uluru, grass from Glastonbury, sound waves from the Pyramids, and sacred geometry from Glastonbury. With all the power of my ascended masters, guides and guardians, I declared that I was ready to take all sacred transmissions received and step into my destiny. I ran the energies of the mountain through my crystal core, spoke Arcturus, and felt the white light of the divine stream through my chakras lighting me up from my head to my toes...my journey to heal the rainbow serpent had come full circle. All the colors of the rainbow were now merged together and created pure white...within and without.

Oo-ya-ni-ma-ya. You are the light of your soul. And so it is.

Glastonbury - 6th Chakra (Third Eye)

The Story of My Rocks

Picture
It was about 3 am on a hot summer's night in 2016 and I did what I normally do when I can't sleep...I opened my third eye. This time, instead of astral travel, I heard a clear and distinct voice that said "Get the sacred rocks from Andrea and open the portal". I had no idea what this meant. I had only met Andrea once before. Luckily Andrea is a kind and generous sole. A couple of months later I had 5 rocks from the sacred Nanaimo River in my possession. They were powerful...from a distance I could hear and feel them humming. The what, when, why, where and how to complete the 'portal' portion of the message remained a mystery. I let it go and had faith that a similar message would present itself when the timing was right.

A couple months later, with the help of my guides and my dear friend Trina, on the last new moon of December 2016 I opened the portal through a shamanic ceremony on the shores of Sooke, British Columbia. I would later learn, as I usually do, that this portal brought new energies from the heart-center of the 22 diamond-shaped galaxies in the highest frequency...love. Since that moment, my rocks have been by my side travelling with me around the world.

Fast forward to January 2018, while in meditation, I received another clear and distinct message "drop the rocks in the well". Based on who delivered this message, I knew it was related to my visit to Glastonbury but beyond the 'where' and 'what' the details were unknown. As a started to plan the logistics for my visit to Glastonbury I chuckled when I noticed that The Chalice Well was beside the Tor, and, Glastonbury is known for the energy of the goddess Mary Magdalene...known for unconditional love. The pieces were starting to come together.

The day of my arrival in Glastonbury I was given the instructions for two ceremonies; one at the Chalice Well to activate the energy of love, and the other at the Tor to awaken the divine feminine. As I approached the wellhead, I noted that the symbol on the well cover was Vesica Pisces...the root of all sacred geometric symbols representing the union of opposites and often associated to the goddess. During the shamanic ceremony, I cried as I thanked the stones for being with me for two years...they had both galactic and my energetic signatures of love embedded into their essence. As I dropped them into the well, I felt a wave of energy roll up my body from my toes to crown. It was like the energy of love in sacred geometric form getting implanted into my soul DNA. Powerful!

Since that day, I have started to see more sacred geometric forms through my third-eye. To me these images are the graphical representation of divine information in energetic form...the building blocks of our universe and existence: love -> the one true frequency that unites all beings.

Oo-ya-ni-ma-ya. You are the light of your soul. And so it is.

The Great Pyramid - 5th Chakra (Throat)

The Ancient Land of Contrasts

Picture
Ancient, modern, clean, dirty, rich, poor, tourists, locals, men, women, sand, grass, desperation, and kindness. These contrasts were blatantly obvious as we traveled through Egypt over the 12 days touring temples and tombs in Giza, Aswan, and Luxor. However, the biggest contrast was the one I experienced energetically; profound beauty and horrific evil.

We arrived at the Giza Plateau at night. The sights, smells, and sounds were overwhelming. In the morning I gasped as I opened the curtains "Welcome Ancient One" I heard as I viewed the unobstructed beauty of the pyramids and sphinx. As we walked around the site that same day I felt the pure, high vibration energy of the site and, for the first time in a while, I felt centered, peaceful, and calm.
I took a deep breath, asked for protection and descended into the King's Chamber of Khufu, the Great Pyramid. Following the instructions from my guides; I put my hands on the sarcophagus, started to hum 'Om' in the key of G, and visualized crystalline energy running from the center of the earth, through the pyramid, through me, and up into the cosmos. Feeling the sounds waves vibrating every cell of my being and the power of harmonics was humbling knowing the power of this ancient structure. When I finished I declared the site activated and harmonically aligned. I cried when I was able to sit, catch my breath and recall the experience. Beautiful!

Then it changed. I knew visiting Egypt would be intense. My guides advised me to ground, clear, and protect myself 3 to 4 times per day. I did. It started with the portal of February 22 (222)...I felt much that day. A few days later I got an entity attachment, a few days after that I was psychically attacked while sleeping, and a few days after that I got a henna tattoo of the Eye of Horus on my left forearm. The extra protection helped. The good news is I knew what to do this time. Reflecting back on this now, this journey to heal the earth's chakras has been a healing journey for me too. I am so incredibly grateful for it all; the good and the bad...the ultimate divine contrast.

Glastonbury - 4th Chakra (Heart)

Resistance is Futile

Picture
I started to feel energetic resistance a few days before flying to the United Kingdom. It progressively intensified up to and during my first two days there until I had the ceremony on top of the Tor and won. Let me explain...

Initially it felt like a small boy holding on to my apron strings and not wanting me to go...a minor irritation. Then I felt it grow in strength as the angry male boarder guard grilled me before entry into the UK...my hardest crossing in 5 months of international travel. Then it felt like I was being physically restrained by a male teen the morning as I prepared for the ceremony...now it got my attention. I took a few moments to breathe deeply and I dropped into my heart-centre to clear all interferences from all dimensions known and unknown. Then finally  the crescendo...a violent wind storm on top of the Tor where I felt the full strength of the angry male patriarchy being dissolved as the goddess of the divine feminine awoke. "This is happening whether you like it or not." I said during the shamanic ceremony at the stone of the four directions on top of the Tor. I brought in the 3 other chakra's, danced, sang, spoke ancient shamanic languages, and I energetically cleared the land.

As I came down the hill in the west I felt a sense of elation. A sense that we had won...the divine feminine has arisen...in all of us, male or female. It is her time. Embrace the soft and gentle yet poignant fire energy that is her. May we all have peace, joy and love. Shalom.

Uluru - 3rd Chakra (Solar Plexus)

My Shamanic Journey

Picture
I heard thumping as my wings flapped...their rhythmic movement mirroring the relaxed beating of my heart. I had laser precision eyesight as I saw my destination in the distance. I felt the cool air hit my eyes as I was propelled forward flying to Uluru, or Ayers Rock, Gaia's third chakra. I had shape shifted into a Golden Eagle.

My first experience with Shape Shifting was in the Peruvian Jungle. I became a jaguar, then an eagle, and then a mouse. The next day at the lodge, a Golden Eagle landed in my path and stared at me with its yellow piercing eyes. It was a beautiful moment; a knowing that we connected spiritually.

When I landed on the dry red earth I felt my talons transform into paws. I felt the soft pads of my feet pounding into the earth as I started run. With every rhythmic step, I felt the muscles in my jaguar legs flex and contract as I bounded around the perimeter counter-clockwise of this massive sacred rock. I sniffed the dry air and I smelt a faint floral aroma as I wove in and out amongst the arid shrubs. I strained my neck to see the top of the massive rock and felt the sun warming my fur as it sank beyond the horizon. I went closer to the rock and felt the vibrations through the earth. There was an indigenous man playing a didgeridoo. "Welcome" he said as he stood beside his burning fire. I felt the intensity of the heat on my fur.

I transformed back to my human form and we performed an Integration Ceremony whereby I brought the energy and an item from each of Gaia's chakras; a pine cone from Mount Shasta (first chakra), water from Lake Titicaca (second chakra) was sprinkled around the fire, and a handful of dirt from the ground at Uluru (third chakra). I then added tobacco to honour the land and its ancestors. I danced around the fire to the shamanic music of the didgeridoo and played a drum with an animal bone. The ancestors were pleased. After transmuting the energies, I ran them through my crystalline core and declared the land clean, healed and activated. I reverently placed both hands the rock and felt the beauty and peaceful energy flow through my body. I humbly asked that the warmth, beauty and energy of this place be locked into my third chakra permanently. And so it is.

Peru and Lake Titicaca - 2nd Chakra (Sacral)

The Land of Beauty and Magic

Picture
From the very first moment I felt her, I knew I was home. Her energy swirled around me as I touched down in Lima on December 11th. "Welcome Home" pachamama said. As I laid in bed the next morning, I felt her vortex swirling around me...enveloping me like a blanket, like an old friend.

Throughout my 4 weeks in this beautiful country I had a myriad of energetic experiences. Everywhere I went I was touched by her magic; Paracas, Nazca, Peruvian Amazon, Sacred Valley, Inca Trail, Machu Picchu, and Lake Titicaca. Here are some highlights.

Nazca. As I watched the educational video at the Nazca airport prior to getting our birds-eye-view of the lines, my body was getting 'pinged' by spirit like a pinball machine. Much information streamed in about the ancient Nazcas and their life. For example, they were buried sitting up so they could be in alignment with the flow of energy from mother earth to the heavens, cuddled in her womb, for safe passage home. Seeing the lines from the air was powerful. During the flight I channelled an ancient shamanic language from one of my guides to clear, heal and activate the land. The beauty and grace of that moment brought me to tears.

Peruvian Amazon. I spent the week of the solstice 155 km south of Iquitos in the heart of the jungle working with a Shipibo Shaman. Only reachable by boat, the energy surrounding the lodge was electrifying. The jungle spoke to me through the water, wind, birds, and trees. I had 4 Ayahuasca Ceremonies with the shaman. Each was different and all needed for my spiritual healing and growth. The Shipibo are fascinating. The shamans connect to the universe through their icaros or chants that transmute sacred geometry through sound vibrations for healing and balancing. The ceremony is over when the design of the sacred geometry is permanently embedded, protecting the spirit. I saw and felt much during the ceremonies; eagles, panthers, masks, eyes and faces. Two profound experiences included seeing the birth of the universe and feeling a deeply divine and unconditional love connecting all living things. What a life changing experience!

Lake Titicaca...gaia's second chakra. It means 'Great Puma' in Aymara, an ancient pre-Inca language still spoken in communities around the lake. It is massive... about 8,300 square km. We arrived on her shores on the first full moon of 2018 and spent two days kayaking on her sacred waters. With each stroke I chanted my mantra of 'peace, joy and love' as we effortlessly glided between Isla Taquile and Isla Amantani. On Amantani we stayed with a local family and I practiced my Quechua. Before dinner, I slipped away to honour pachamama as I had felt her hum and energy all day. I had a small ceremony involving coca leaves, a rock, and water. When I finished, I looked up to see a lone star shining brightly in the west. Beautiful!

On the full moon at Isla Amantani I received a poignant message "you have an Incan heart". It was accompanied by a beautifully carved and glowing chakana. Peru still haunts me. I am reminded of her beauty and magic every day. Until we meet again...

The Transition

Polishing My Heart

Picture
Coming off a high in Costa Rica, my time in Nicaragua was the opposite...a low; a period of growth. I was given a choice of how to raise my frequency and I took the hard route. It was.

We started our 3 ½ weeks in Granada on November 18th. A lovely colonial city steeped in architectural beauty. Energetically, somewhere along my first few days in the country, I picked up an entity attachment that took me several days to diagnose and then remove through a Shamanic Ceremony under the advice of my guides. Also during this period I had many flashbacks whereby I was shown situations in my life where I was not proud of my actions or words. I found myself sitting with these memories and forgiving myself. Looking myself in the mirror and loving myself, despite it all, was hard.

We then went to San Juan del Sur. The town was nothing to write home about however it was a convenient access point to several pristine Pacific Coast beaches. As an empath I often feel global and local energetic unrest. In San Juan, it hit me hard. I did not get any sleep for 3 nights and, despite the amazing beaches, I got a flu and had some of the worst fights with my husband so far on our journey. To top it all off, I lost my iPhone on our last day. I had hit a low point.

By the time we went to Ometepe Island, my tank was empty. I desperately needed self-care. Ometepe rich in indigenous history, was the perfect place to do the final purge. We had a wonderful time exploring the islands and found fascinating petroglyphs. On November 30th I spent a full day honouring what I needed to feel whole again; chanting, meditating, connecting with loved ones, dancing, drawing, and reading. I ended this magical day with a ceremony. I burned sage, used my rattle and my crystals, and sang an ancient shamanic song to the land. I felt complete.

I’ve polished my heart; the cobwebs have been removed and the love and light have returned. I feel connected again to this beautiful world. As our travels continue on to Peru, I am living each moment from a place of love….not fear. I will end 2017 on the shores of Lake Titicaca. Life is such a blessing!

Soul Magic

A Sensory Experience of Costa Rica

Picture
"The one who calls"...and she did. From the very first step on her soil until the moment I left, it was magical....profound really.

I had 3 wonderful weeks experiencing a soft, fluid, yet powerful female energy; a lovely mix of gentle Lemurian and raw volcanic fire. The first week I was surrounded by 33 members of my beautiful soul tribe at the Lee Harris retreat at Blue Spirit on the shores of Playa Guiones. Our collective ancestors descended from the mountain and held us as we worked through energy healing on multiple dimensions. At the end of that week the fire of creation was lit. Wow... it burned through long held emotions in my body; it encircled my feet, spiralled up to my hands and then my crown. It now fuels the flames around my heart. 😌

The following two weeks was about exploring and nuturing my soul as I integrated new energies. Through ceremony, I sang to her waters, danced to her beauty, rattled to her ancestors, and I received her gifts.

Her people are beautiful. I love that they live with a natural ease, fully honouring the land. "La Pura Vita" is a way of life. What soul magic!

Mount Shasta - 1st Chakra (Root)

Honouring Mother Through Ceremony

Picture
"You are now in the presence of the one." Is what I heard as we approached the mountain on the new moon of Thursday October 19th.

As soon as we arrived at our campground on the base of the mountain, I immediately performed a Water Ceremony to honour the land and ask permission to work with it over the next four days. I sprinkled drinking water around me in a circle (representing the feminine) to cleanse and purify the land. I then danced around the circle to celebrate the land's grandeur.

On day two, I performed a Wind Ceremony on top of the mountain at the Old Ski Bowl Trailhead where I was asked by my guides to sing to the land. The song that intuitively arrived was Chattr Chakkr, a mantra for love and the heart chakra. I cried as the energy was so profoundly beautiful.

On day three, I was guided to complete a Fire Ceremony to honour ancestors. The ceremony involved 3 dead leaves representing roads already taken, 3 alive leaves representing roads we are going to take, 3 pine cones representing the bridge between spirit and land through our 3rd eye (pineal gland), and a plate of food to feed the fire. I started with the sprinkling of water to set a pure intention. I then added the pine cones and leaves to the fire and I ended the ceremony with rattling and dancing around the 4 directions of the fire.

On day four, I ended our magical experience with a prayer in Panther Meadows, a sacred indigineous shamanic site on the mountain. I brought my animal totem and my crystal pyramid and thanked the land for protecting, healing and bringing me emense joy.

And so it is.

Healing the Rainbow Serpent

Within and Without

In the intensity of the full-moon eclipse of August 2017 I was given a message by my guides “activate the ley lines at the earth’s chakras”. Shortly thereafter I intuitively found this image that served as our plan; travel from the root to the crown through the seven chakras cleaning, healing and activating myself and the land over 6 months. In September 2017 we started this journey and started driving from our home in Yellowknife Canada to Mount Shasta California over 3,000 kilometers. I was scared. This was huge… Could I do this? Was I up to this immense responsibility? Did I have the skills? Plagued with self-doubt I persevered as I was ready to surrender and trust the divine plan. I was born for this.
Picture
I started my path to remembering December 2015 after a 40 year hiatus from the magic of my childhood. Over the last 3 years my spiral spiritual journey has been both profoundly beautiful and challenging as I remember, heal and grow. I have quieted my mind, rediscovered parts of my soul, nurtured my gifts, connected with God, found strength and softness within, and reignited my fire…my passion. As I near the end of this journey I am starting to reflect on the enormity and beauty of this gift.

In many aboriginal cultures the rainbow serpent is a prolific deity responsible for giving and destroying life on a global scale. As a child I loved rainbows…I still do. They are part of my shamanic process. Healing the rainbow serpent is personal journey of healing within while exploring ancient traditions, knowledge and energies of each site visited. Healing and communicating with the land has been a humbling experience and a privilege. There is so much love in this world. Just soften your heart and feel. Join me on this journey through the chakras and heal your own rainbow serpent.

Practicing Transmutation

Picture
We've been on the road for 3 weeks now making our way down to Mount Shasta; the first of the sacred sites we'll be visiting over the next 6 months.

I've been working with my guides to practice transmuting energies in the land. During the full moon last week while visiting a small town in British Columbia, I felt my ears ring, my heart tighten and the tell-take anxiety as I was shown a young girl that had died in a barn many years ago. Both her energies and the land needed to be cleared and returned back to source. I completed a healing ceremony with the help of my guides and immediately felt the softness return and the tension within the land dissolve.

The ceremonies I perform are heart-based. The land...she speaks to every cell of my being; through the rocks, water, trees, and the wind.
