Yoga & Meditation
Kundalini Yoga is comprised of Mantras, Meditations and Kriyas. A kriya is a series of postures (asanas), breath (pranayams), and sound (mantras) that work toward a specific outcome. Practicing a kriya initiates a sequence of physical and mental changes that affect the body, mind, and spirit simultaneously. Each kriya has a different effect, but all work on all levels of your being and are designed to get the energy flowing from your root chakra to your crown, to increase your self awareness, and, to expedite your spiritual growth. It is not like other forms of yoga known in the west. It is completed with your eyes closed so you can tune into your own guru within...your own spiritual truth.
Jillian (Akal Namdevi Kaur) is a certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher from the Kundalini Research Institute as taught by Kundalini Master Yogi Bhajan. Akal Namdevi is a spiritual name given by the 3HO Foundation that means one that embodies an angelic and infinite soul through meditating on God’s divine name.
